Metaverse marketing: the importance of strategy for brands

The Splendid UNLIMITED team have just got back from the worlds biggest conference focused on crypto, Blockchain, DeFi and Web3 along with 20,000 other attendees in Austin, Texas.
The Splendid UNLIMITED team have just got back from the worlds biggest conference focused on crypto, Blockchain, DeFi (that’s decentralised finance) and Web3 along with 20,000 other attendees in Austin, Texas. Consensus is billed as the festival for the decentralised world, and while crypto took a battering as the event unfolded attendees remained optimistic about the crypto ecosystem as a whole. In general, new projects and the rise of Web3, increased utility of blockchain and the metaverse were the main discussion points rather than the cryptocurrency prices.
And that’s where we come in. Splendid were there to support our client Cardano who were launching several projects and initiatives, one of which we designed and built (with more in the pipe). The Lace Wallet DApp Store. That’s Decentralised Apps for those not in the know that run on the blockchain to provide, in the main, financial tools and services. This was showcased at the event by Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson.
The weather was intense at 42 degrees Celsius (that’s 104 Fahrenheit across the pond) and with an event or happening on every street corner, hotel and bar. From crypto based loyalty points and rewards through the festival to major launches. It was the place to be.
