Announcing the launch of Boots.com new responsive retail experience

This month Boots.com, with Splendid Unlimited, IBM and Coremedia, announced the launch of their new e-store and pharmacy website to a new platform, delivering an improved shopping and servicing experience across all devices for their customers.
Splendid Unlimited, in partnership, worked alongside the Boots Customer Experience team in Nottingham, building on the principles and values of one of the world's largest retailers. According to the Internet Retail Magazine, Boots is placed at number 3 for online elite retailers in the UK. Over a period of 18 months, Splendid have been working with Boots on a series of propositions, all working towards this overall online experience.
Splendid, together with IBM, Aurora and Coremedia, delivered a truly world-beating e-commerce experience with improvements across the board; these included improved search and filtering, a streamlined online responsive checkout (whilst also offering a guest checkout) and Order and Collect. Boots has a store portfolio of 2,487 stores – given that 90% of the population live within a 10 minute drive from their nearest Boots store the Order and Collect proposition should be a real differentiator.
The site will continue to deliver improvements in the UK and internationally over the coming months, bringing more of what customers love from Britain’s best-loved retailer.
